The Honker Holidays Angel Tree is up and ready! If you have a nomination for a child or family, please DM me or Hope at the Honker Pit. You can also fill out a sheet at the Honker Pit.
The tags have clothing and toy tags. Clothing tags have sizes and shoe sizes. It is a general tag and only lists specifics if we know a child specifically needs a certain item. Otherwise, feel free to purchase any clothing item(s) for the child. We also have toy tags which share interests of the child. Some tags have specific toys a child has asked Santa for.
Boots, hats, and gloves are always needed, and there are several local businesses in Sheridan County that have those items on hand.
We also created an Amazon Wish List that can be found by searching “Medicine Lake Honker Holiday’s” that list will be active and able to be seen by Sunday. The list is meant to help give ideas on items we know the kids would like. We are listing several family games, books, coloring books, markers, crayons and we will add add these items to our families and kids gifts so that they each will receive a book, coloring supplies, and a game they can play as a family. We have added a variety of items to show interests, please do not feel that you have to purchase all items. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Medicine Lake FFA will be serving cinnamon rolls, chili, and cornbread at the Annual Prairie Cupboard and Home Sale on Saturday November 18th from 9 am - 2 pm. Cinnamon rolls will be served from 9am-11am. for $4.
Chili, cornbread, and cinnamon rolls will be served as a meal for $10 from 11am- 2pm.
All proceeds will go to the Medicine Lake FFA Chapter to help with traveling to competitions and FFA events.

Red Ribbon Week
Montana’s 10th Crunch Time event was on Tuesday, 10/10/23!
This is a statewide event to celebrate National Farm to School Month, support local producers, and encourage nutritious choices by crunching into local foods throughout October.
Exciting news here at MLHS, our special services department is starting a new class business called Empowered Creations, which will focus on monthly project to promote soft skills training for career and community readiness. Medicine Lake students and Miss Murphy had the opportunity to assist Dr. Heather Grimm and Wild Point Pound Puppies at their spay and neuter clinic. All had a great time, held kitties, and learned valuable skills and the importance of spay and neutering pets!
The District 8 FCCLA met in Medicine Lake on September 13 to plan our district conference. The chapters that attended were Medicine Lake, Scobey, Plentywood, and Glasgow. Planning the event, getting a keynote speaker, and fun was had. The speaker this year will be Walker Ator. The conference will be held in Medicine Lake on November 15!
