Red Ribbon Week

Montana’s 10th Crunch Time event was on Tuesday, 10/10/23!
This is a statewide event to celebrate National Farm to School Month, support local producers, and encourage nutritious choices by crunching into local foods throughout October.

Exciting news here at MLHS, our special services department is starting a new class business called Empowered Creations, which will focus on monthly project to promote soft skills training for career and community readiness. Our first project will focus on Halloween. If you have any questions you can reach out to Scarlett Tabbert through FB or call the school. 406-789-2211

Medicine Lake students and Miss Murphy had the opportunity to assist Dr. Heather Grimm and Wild Point Pound Puppies at their spay and neuter clinic. All had a great time, held kitties, and learned valuable skills and the importance of spay and neutering pets!






The District 8 FCCLA met in Medicine Lake on September 13 to plan our district conference. The chapters that attended were Medicine Lake, Scobey, Plentywood, and Glasgow. Planning the event, getting a keynote speaker, and fun was had. The speaker this year will be Walker Ator. The conference will be held in Medicine Lake on November 15!

First day of school will be August 21st, 2023.
All incoming Kindergarten and 7th grade students must have their shots up to date prior to the first day of school.
Sports Physicals
We will have these printed off at the office or we can email.
Any students planning to play sports must have your physicals completed before the 1st day of practice or you will not be allowed to practice. We will not be hosting physicals here at the school, you will need to go to the clinic for this. Sorry for the inconvenience. These need to be turned into the main office.
We will be closing the gym and multi purpose room to have our floors waxed.
The closure dates are as follows:
Multi purpose-July 10-12, 2023
Gym-July 12-31, 2023
If you plan to use the weight room, please use the access in the back of the school.
All community keys have been turned off unless dues were paid to access the weight room/gym.
Yearly fee July 2023-June 2024 $120.00

Congratulations to our National Honor Society Inductees!



Monday night Mrs. Moberg (Vangen) held her last FFA Banquet at Medicine Lake School. There were a lot of tears shed and a lot of laughs. We are sure going to miss her. Thank you for everything you have done for our students and school Mrs. Moberg!







Our Medicine Lake Student Council will be doing a fundraiser for the end of the year. $1.00 per vote for one of the following staff members to be "pied" in the face on the last day of school. You can comment, call the office (406-789-2211) or email (cwilke@medicinelake.k12.mt.us) who you want to vote for and how many times you want to vote for them in the comments. 1st grade has been having a great time learning about ducks. They incubated eggs and were excited to watch them hatch.





We would like to thank Kash Ator and Zoey Ator for volunteering their time to organizing the Autism Walk to end our Autism Acceptance and Awareness Month. They did a wonderful job making this event special for our students, staff, and community! Great job you two!
